What you need
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android)
- Internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
- Apple ID, Google account or email address
- Optional: friend's referral code (both of you get points)
The app is free to download. You only pay for song requests - no subscriptions.
Guest (no account) vs User (signed in)
Without an account you're a Guest - you can only browse. With an account you're a User with full access:
- Browse parties, clubs, performers - both Guest and User
- Joining a party, requesting songs, vouchers, cards, favorites - User only
- Nearby party (auto modal) - User only
Tapping most buttons (as Guest) takes you to the sign-in screen.
Bottom menu (footer)
User (5 items):
- Parties - list and map of all parties
- Clubs/Performers - browse clubs, bands and DJs
- Join party - if you have an active party, takes you straight to it; otherwise opens the picker (QR / code)
- Add voucher - scan or enter voucher code
- Profile - your account, funds, favorites, history, awards
Guest (4 items): Parties, Clubs/Performers, Join party (goes to sign-in), Profile (goes to sign-in).
Top menu (header)
User: logo on the left; on the right three icons - monthly leaderboard (trophy), notifications (bell with red dot for unread), settings (gear).
Guest: logo on the left, language toggle and "Sign in" button on the right.
The app remembers the active party. If you close the app and reopen while the party is still going, it brings you back to the same room.
Sign in or sign up
On the "Sign in" screen you have three options:
- Email + password - classic sign-in
- Google - one click
- Apple - iPhone only
Sign-up (email)
- On the sign-in screen choose "Sign up"
- Enter email, password and confirm password
- The app sends a verification code to your email
- On the confirmation screen, enter the code from the email. If the code didn't arrive, tap "Resend"
Forgot password
- On the sign-in screen: "Forgot password"
- Enter email → you'll get a code via email
- On the next screen: code + "New password"
If the email is wrong, you'll see "Email address not found."
Complete your account (Account Completion)
After your first sign-in (and with social sign-in), the "Complete account" screen opens with:
- First and last name
- Username
- Optional referral code from a friend
- City
- Checkbox "I agree to the Terms of use" (required)
- Optional checkbox "I'd like to receive notifications about news and promotions"
Tapping "Complete account" finalizes the account and opens the app.
Referral code bonus: if you enter a friend's referral code, both of you get points when the conditions are met (see the refer-a-friend guide).
First time in the app
On first launch (and later if not completed, during working hours 8am–7pm) the app shows intro screens with 4 steps that explain the Jukebox concept.
- You can swipe forward / back or tap Skip
- Once finished, the onboarding is marked as seen - it won't show again
Profile, password, language, deletion
Change password
Profile → ⚙ Settings → Change password - form with "Old password", "New password" and "Confirm new password".
If you signed in with Google / Apple, this option doesn't appear (your password is managed by that provider).
Edit profile
Profile → ⚙ Settings → Account settings:
- Email (view only, can't be changed in-app)
- "First and last name", "Username", "Phone number"
- "City" (selection from list)
- "Language" (Serbian / English)
- "Delete account" button (at the bottom)
Change language
- Before sign-in: language toggle in the header (English / Serbian)
- After sign-in:
Account settings → Language
Sign out and delete account
- Sign out:
Settings → Sign out→ confirm "Are you sure you want to sign out?" - Delete:
Account settings → Delete account→ opens confirmation about permanent deletion
Deletion is permanent - order history, funds and medals tied to the account are lost.
FAQ - account creation
Is sign-up free?
Yes. The app is free to download and sign up. You only pay for song requests.
Can I use the app without an account?
You can browse the party list and clubs/performers, but joining a party, requesting songs and adding cards require signing in.
Can I have multiple accounts with the same email?
No. One email = one account. If you want a second account, use a different email.
What if I forgot my password?
On the sign-in screen tap "Forgot password" - the app sends a reset code to your email.
Can I change the sign-up method later?
Currently no - the account is tied to the method you first signed up with. If you need a change, write to us at info@getjukebox.app.
What if the email verification code doesn't arrive?
Tap "Resend" on the confirmation screen. Check your Spam/Junk folder too.
