Add a card

Add a payment card in 2 minutes

Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Dina are supported. Payment is secure - the card goes through your bank's 3D Secure check, and Jukebox doesn't store the data directly.

Before you start

What you need

  • Active Jukebox account - create one if you don't have it
  • Payment card - Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Dina
  • Phone that receives bank SMS codes (if you use SMS-based 3D Secure)

Security: the app does not store the card number directly - everything is processed by a secure payment gateway with 3D Secure verification.

Step 1

Open Payment settings

There are two ways to reach the add-card flow:

  • From Profile ⚙ Settings → Payment settings → "Add card"
  • From the song request screen → when you pick paying by card without a saved card, you'll see "No payment card selected. Add a new card or pick an existing one." with the add button

If you see the banner "No payment card added" with the message "Add a card to request songs" - it's a shortcut to the add flow.

Step 2

Tap Add card and fill in the details

A card form opens - secure, hosted by the payment processor. Fill in:

  • Card number (16 digits)
  • Expiration month and year
  • CVV (3 digits on the back of the card)

Note: the app never sees these details directly - they go straight to the card processor.

Step 3

3D Secure check (if the bank requires)

Depending on the card and the bank, a 3D Secure check may be required:

  • Redirect to the bank page with a code from your mobile banking
  • SMS code the bank sends to your phone
  • Push notification in the banking app to approve the transaction

The app tracks success and brings you back automatically. On success you see the toast "Card successfully added".

Important: 3D Secure check does not charge money - it's only a verification that the card works and you own it.

After adding

Selecting, default, deleting cards

In "Card settings" you see each card with:

  • Issuer logo (Visa, Mastercard, Dina…)
  • Masked number (•••• 1234)
  • Expiration date (label "Expires" mm/yy)

Tapping a card opens options:

  • "Select" - sets it as the currently used card
  • "Delete card" - asks for confirmation "Are you sure you want to delete this card?" and removes the card

If you have only one card, it's automatically used as the default.

Errors

Common errors and messages

Trying to add a duplicate card

"This card is already saved" - "You can't add the same card twice. Check your saved cards or set it as the default."

You don't have any cards

In Profile you see the banner "No payment card added" - "Add a card to request songs".

Frequently asked

FAQ - cards

Do you store my card number?

No. The app does not store the card number directly - all transactions go through a secure payment gateway with 3D Secure check. In the app you only see the masked number (•••• 1234) and expiration date.

Can I have multiple cards?

Yes. You can add an unlimited number of cards and switch between them.

What if 3D Secure fails?

Try again - it's often a connection drop or expired code. If it still doesn't work, contact your bank to check that 3D Secure is enabled for your card.

Can I use a Maestro card?

Yes. Maestro is supported alongside Visa, Mastercard and Dina cards.

How do I switch the default card?

In "Card settings", tap the card you want as default and choose "Select".

Next step: vouchers (optional)

You can skip this and head straight to the party, but if you have a voucher from an event or promotion, here's how to add it.
